An EMR is where a clinic's day is written down. It has to be fast enough to fill in between patients and complete enough to send to SATUSEHAT. This is what building one with us looks like.

- **Services:** UI/UX Design · Web Development
- **Industry:** Health
- **Timeline:** A first release in roughly 3–6 months
- **Backed by:** 1 case study · 1 for a client
- **Updated:** 2026-10-02

## Who it’s for

Clinics and small clinic groups replacing paper records, spreadsheets or software staff work around rather than with.

## Features

**Must have**

- Patient registration and search
- Visit records in the order a visit happens
- Diagnoses and prescriptions
- Roles for reception, nurses and doctors
- An audit trail of who changed what
- Records complete enough for SATUSEHAT

**Nice to have**

- Appointment booking and a live queue
- Printable summaries and referral letters
- Two table densities for laptop and touchscreen
- Reports for the clinic owner

## Screens and flows

1. Today's list at reception
2. Patient search and registration
3. The visit record, step by step
4. Diagnosis and prescription
5. The patient's history
6. Clinic settings and staff roles

## Platform options

- **Web app.** The default. Runs on any computer at the desk with no install, and updates for everyone at once. Rekamedika is a web app.
- **Tablet in the room.** The same web app with a touch-friendly density, for doctors who record at the bedside rather than at a desk.

## Integrations

- SATUSEHAT (Ministry of Health)
- Printing for summaries and letters

## How we approach it

We design the visit record first, because everything else hangs off it. Fields follow the order the visit happens, nothing is asked twice, and the record shows what's still missing before the patient leaves.

Then reception: today's list, who's waiting, who's in with the doctor. Status you can read from across the room matters more than any chart.

Rekamedika, built for PT Celebes Niaga Jaya, is where this approach comes from. Its SATUSEHAT registration is in progress as of September 2026.

## Frequently asked questions

### How long does an EMR take to build?

A first release usually lands in three to six months, depending on how many roles and reports it needs on day one. We agree the scope in writing before design starts.

### Can staff keep using the old system while it's built?

Yes, and we'd recommend it. The new system runs beside the old one until the records it produces are trusted.
