Parents arrive with one question, usually on a phone, often late in the evening. We build school websites that answer it quickly, and small web apps so the admissions team can answer what the site can't.

## What education teams run into

- **The curriculum lives in a presentation.** Programmes are written up as slides for open days. Rebuilt as sections, each one answers a single question a parent asks, without paging through the whole deck.
- **Two campuses, one confusing site.** Fees, schedules and contacts differ by campus. Parents need to know at every step which campus they're reading about.
- **Enquiries lost in a spreadsheet.** Every form becomes a row nobody owns. An inbox with campus, type and status up front shows who still needs a reply.
- **Nobody on staff can maintain a server.** Schools rarely have an engineer. A front-end-only site leaves no database, login or backend to keep patched.

## Constraints we design for

- **Children's personal data.** Under Indonesia's personal data protection law (UU PDP), processing a child's data needs consent from a parent or guardian. Enquiry forms should ask only what admissions needs and say what happens to it.
- **Photos of pupils.** School sites run on pictures of children. Which photos may be published is the school's decision, so the site should make swapping or removing one quick.
- **The admissions calendar.** Traffic and enquiries bunch around open days and enrolment periods. Pages have to stay fast and forms dependable exactly when the most parents arrive.

## Features that keep coming up

- Sections that each answer one parent question
- Campus-aware pages for fees, schedules and contacts
- Programme pages by age group
- Enquiry and visit-request forms
- An inbox for enquiries with status and campus
- Static pages that load fast on a phone
- SEO foundations for searches by area and age

## Typical builds

- [School website design and development](https://goodtogrid.com/solutions/school-website) — A school site where each section answers one parent question, built without a backend to maintain.
- [Form inbox and reporting dashboard](https://goodtogrid.com/solutions/form-inbox-dashboard) — A private inbox for website form enquiries, with reporting in the tab beside it.

## How we approach it

We start with what parents ask before they visit: what a day looks like, what each age group learns, which campus is nearer, how to book a tour. Each answer becomes its own section, and every section is drawn from one family of cards so the site stays consistent as it grows.

KYZN Preschool, with campuses in Kuningan and BSD, is the example. The school had a curriculum deck written for presenting. We rebuilt it as a website, live at kyzn.sch.id since August 2026.

The enquiries that site produces needed a home too. Dashbird gives each web form a status and a campus, reads like mail, and keeps SEO data for the school site in the tab beside it.

## Frequently asked questions

### Can you turn our existing brochure or deck into a website?

Yes, that's how the KYZN Preschool site started. The curriculum deck was written to be presented, so we restructured it into sections parents can browse rather than copying slides onto pages.

### Where do enquiries from the site go?

Wherever your team works best. For KYZN they go to Dashbird, a private web app on its own subdomain, instead of a shared Google Sheet. It has been in use since August 2026.

### Will we need someone technical to run the site?

Not for a site like KYZN Preschool's. It's a front end only, with no server, database or login for the school to look after.
