People open a money app to check one thing and leave. If the number isn't clear, they stop trusting the app. We design fintech interfaces where every balance has a reason and nothing about money is left vague.

## What fintech teams run into

- **One pot of money.** Savings kept in a single balance get spent from it. Splitting money into named goals with dates makes it clear what's actually free to spend.
- **Bills that arrive as surprises.** Most bills land on the same day each month, yet still catch people out. A reminder only helps if the money is already set aside.
- **Numbers people don't believe.** A balance that changes without explanation feels like a mistake. Every movement needs a plain line saying where the money went and why.
- **Onboarding that loses people.** Identity checks and consent screens are required, and they're where many sign-ups stop. Order, wording and progress make the difference.

## Constraints we design for

- **OJK and Bank Indonesia.** In Indonesia, holding and moving money generally falls under OJK or Bank Indonesia supervision. Apps like the Savings Wallet concept rely on a licensed bank or e-wallet partner, whose rules shape the flows.
- **Identity checks.** Partners usually require customers to verify who they are before money moves. The design has to fit those steps in without making them feel like a wall.
- **Financial and personal data.** Balances, transactions and ID documents are personal data under UU PDP. Screens should show only what's needed, and hide amounts when the phone is on a table.
- **Clear terms.** Fees, limits and what happens on withdrawal must be stated where the decision is made, not buried in a terms page.

## Features that keep coming up

- Savings goals with a name, an amount and a date
- Bills set up as their own small goals
- Reminders scheduled from bill dates
- A plain-language history of every movement
- Onboarding with identity checks in clear steps
- Hide-balance mode for public places
- Confirmation screens before money moves

## How we approach it

We start by asking what people are afraid of getting wrong with their money. In the Savings Wallet concept the answer was simple: money saved in one pot gets spent from one pot. So every rupiah set aside gets a name and a date, and bills become small goals of their own.

Fintech design is mostly about trust in numbers. We decide which figure leads each screen, write a plain line for every movement, and keep colour for the moments that need attention, like a goal that's falling behind or a bill due before it's funded.

The regulated parts, verification and consent, are designed as carefully as the rest. They're steps the partner requires, so the goal is to make them clear and short, not to hide them.

## Frequently asked questions

### Have you designed a fintech product for a client?

Not yet. Savings Wallet is a studio concept: it shows how we'd design a goal-based savings app. We don't claim users, balances or results for it.

### Do you handle licensing or compliance?

No. Licensing sits with you and your banking or e-wallet partner, and their requirements come to us as constraints. We design the flows to fit them and flag anything in the design that needs their sign-off.

### Can you build the app as well as design it?

Yes. Savings Wallet is designed as one cross-platform codebase for iOS and Android, and mobile development is one of our three services.
